Inauguration Day

Image result for inauguration day It was an historic day in Washington  when the 45th president of the United States of America Donald J. Trump was sworn in, taking the oath of office and making his role official in leading America for the next four years.

The monumental moment unfolds with thousands of people merely filling the streets of the capital to witness the oath of office. The crowd was at least one third of what Obama’s inauguration was in 2008 when about  half a  million people  packed the streets  shoulder to shoulder  even though it  was a much colder day.  The reflection of the amount in attendance is a clear indication of what President Trump will face in the journey ahead.

This is the highest office in The United States and the 58th Inauguration of a president since 1789. Trump is the oldest to enter such an  office and  he might be thinking, what have I gotten  my self into?

As they gather at approximately 11:31am  Eastern Time Mr. Trump was officially introduced as the President of The United States, applause and cheers filled the air as he stepped forward and acknowledged his title with a cheerful wave and bright smile to everyone.

There was a sense of humility among the people yet an emotional day for the out going President Barack H. Obama as the peaceful transfer of power was observed.

The first lady elect Melania Trump was poised  in her new role and  witnessing her Husbands oath will definitely be a test of time for her.
